Gemma Up-Over
Have you ever just needed
to get out of town? Away from
everything and everyone you know? That’s how seventeen year old Gemma
Allen feels after the death of her father. So, she packs up her bags,
uses the plane ticket for the trip they had planned together, and heads
Down Under to find her mom. She’s got a backpack full of cryptic
letters from her mother, maps of the Bibbulmun Track hiking trail, and
nothing left to stay in America for. Gemma travels to Australia in
search of her mom and ends up finding herself along the way.
